Chennai Mathematical Institute – UG and PG Scholarships 2015

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Siruseri is offering UG / PG Scholarships, 2015 for students pursuing their Bachelor of Science (Honors), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Ph.D programmmes for the academic session 2015-16. The selection will be made through entrance test to be held on 18th May, 2015.

1. B.Sc (Hons) – Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics (3 year integrated course)
Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate.
Scholarship : Rs. 4000 per month.

2. M.Sc in Mathematics, Applications of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Eligibility : Graduation / BE / B.Tech / BCA.
Scholarship : Rs. 6000 per month.

3. Ph.D in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics.
Eligibility : BE / B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc / MCA.
Scholarship : Rs. 16000 per month.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.cmi.ac.in. Opening date for online registration is 9th March, 2015. Last date for submission of application form is 17th April, 2015.

National Environmental Sciences Fellows Program 2013

Ministry of Environment and Forests (MEF), Government of India.is offering National Environmental Sciences Fellows Program for the academic year 2013. Programmes are offered in the area of environmental sciences, engineering and technology.

1. Number of Fellowships : 78.
2. Duration of the fellowship : Three years.
3. Area of Research: Social Sciences- 15, Technological – 18, Basic Science – 21 and Observation Modelling and Simulation – 24 fellowships.
4. Eligibility : Ph.D in any branch of Science / Engineering / Medicine / Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering.
5. Experience : Minimum 5 to 8 years of research experience.
Selection Procedure : Based merit in the previous academic record, Discussion and interview.
6. Age: Below 35 years.
