PTET 2011 Notification-Rajasthan Pre Teachers Entrance Test

Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU) Jodhpur shall conduct Pre- Teachers Entrance Test (PTET) for the year 2011-12. Candidates have to secure at least 40 percent marks to qualify the PTET. Total number of seats will be categorised based on the reservation ruled. Hence one can assume that mere securing 40 percent may not guarantee a seat in B.Ed. Course. Following are details of exam pattern, eligibility and application procedure for PTEP 2011:

PTET Exam Scheme and Pattern: The PTET Written Examination consists of following question papers with four sections:

1. Mental Ability
2. Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test
3. General Awareness
4. Language Proficiency (Hindi or English)

PTET 2011 Results will be made available on the official PTET website www.ptetjnvu.org. details of eligiblity and application procedure for PTET 2011 also available on this website. The results also wll be announced on leading news papers of Rajasthan. Details of PTET 2011 Counselling available on www.ptetadmissions.nic.in after the announcement by convenor. Candidates have to register themselves for counseling providing details of Roll No., Counseling Serial No., Name and Date of Birth, entering choices, locking choices, getting counseling results and finally taking print out of allotment order. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks. Those studying final year of their degree are also eligible to apply. Applicants must attend / appear for CAT conducted by IIMs OR NIIT University Management Aptitude Test (NUMAT) conducted online by NIIT. NIIT University uses these scores for short listing candidates. They have to appear for other selection process by University.

Application forms also available at Admissions Office of the university. Filled in applications must be accompanied by a Cheque / DD for Rs. 1350 in favour of ‘NIIT University’ payable at New Delhi.
