The L and T Hydrocarbon – IIT Scholarship is part of L and T Company’s initiatives to extend interface with India’s premier academic institutions in imparting quality engineering education. The company is sponsoring M.Tech. Offshore Structural Engineering course at IIT Madras through this scholarship scheme.
Qualifications: Applicants should have first class B.E / B.Tech with minimum of 60 percent marks / 6.5 CGPA (or 55 percent marks / 6 CGPA for SC / ST candidates) in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute and qualified in GATE.
Age: Not more than 23 years as on 1st August 2014.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on written Test to be conducted by IIT Madras in co-ordination with L and T at 4 metro cities, Madras, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata on 17th May 2014. Candidates who clear the written test, will be called for Interview at IIT Madras on 5th / 6th June 2014.Final selection will be based upon the interview results & also subject to medical fitness as certified by L&T’s authorized medical centres.
