IIPS Mumbai – Post Doctoral Fellowships 2015

Applications are invited by the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai for Post Doctoral Fellowships (PDF) – 2015 for students who are pursuing their full-time PDF programme for the academic session 2015.

Number of fellowships : 5.
Eligibility : Applicants must have Ph.D Degree in Population Studies or any allied subject.
Age : Not more than 40 years.
Fellowship amount : Rs. 50,000 per month for one year and is extendable for one more year.
Selection : Based on merit in academic records and interview.

The application fee is Rs. 500 in the form of DD drawn in favour of the Director, IIPS, Mumbai which should enclosed along with application form.

The completed application form in the prescribed format (available on website : http://www.iipsindia.org) along with relevant documents and fee DD should reach the Assistant Registrar (Academic) on or before 30th June, 2015.

ICHR Post Doctoral Fellowships 2012-13

Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), New Delhi is offering Post – Doctoral Fellowships (PDF) for academic session 2012 – 13. There are 10 fellowships to be awarded for the eligible candidates through an Eligibility Examination to be held on 2nd December, 2012 at New Delhi, Bengaluru and Guwahati.

Amount of ICHR Post Doctoral fellowship is Rs. 28000 per month for period of two years, which should be extendable by 1 more year by recommendation of the Research Projects Committee. Post-doctoral fellowships will be awarded based on Performance in the written examination and interview and The quality of the Ph.D. dissertation of the candidate.

Interested and eligible candidates can download prescribed application form from the ICHR website www. ichrindia.org. The application fee is Rs. 300. Fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of the Deputy Director (Accounts), Indian Council of Historical Research and payable at the UCO Bank 35, Ferozeshah Road, ICSSR New Delhi – 110002.

Filled in application form along with all relevant copies of documents and fee DD should be sent to the Deputy Director (Accounts), Indian Council of Historical Research, Ferozeshah Road, ICSSR New Delhi – 110002. Last date for the submission of completed application form is 30th October, 2012. Interview will be held at the offices of the ICHR in New Delhi.
