Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University announced Admission Notification for MBA Programme 2011-13 for the academic year 2011-12. Pondicherry University is a central university and very reputed in quality of teaching and placements as well. DMS is one of the best and top class Management Departments in the country with various distinctions like world class faculty, industry relevant curriculum and tie ups with foreign universities. MBA is a two year full time course with specialisations in Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations and Systems. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline under 10+2+ 3 / 4/ 5 system with minimum 50 percent marks. Those appearing for final year examinations of Bachelors / Post Graduate Degree Examinations may also apply. Candidates must have Test score of CAT 2010 and it is mandatory for all applicants. CAT score is not required for foreign students.

Number of seats for the academic year 2011-12 is 92. There will be additional 14 seats for foreign students / NRIs. Applicants will be short listed based on CAT 2010-11 score and called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held at DMS, Pondicherry University.

Pondicherry University, a central university with great reputation and prestige has separate school for Management Education. The School of Management has departments of Commerce, Management, Economics, Tourism Studies, Banking Technology and International Business. The school offers MA, MBA, M.Phil and Ph.D. programs in the concerned subjects. The official notification for MBA Admissions will be released during last of December and receipt of applications will be closed in January every year. There are 92 seats in MBA. Essential eligibility is any Bachelor’s Degree under regular system. Online Registration for the program Starts from December. Selection of the candidates to the program will be based on Group discussions and personal interviews which are likely to be conducted for eligible candidates during third week of February. Final selection will be done based on CAT Scores, GD and Personal Interview.
