Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi has issued notification for admission into Ph.D. / PDCC courses for January, 2013 session. Applicants should have M.Sc. / M.B.B.S / MS / MD / DNB in any discipline of Anaeshesia / Radiology / Pediatric / Pathology / Medicine.

Ph.D. / PDCC / Certificate courses are offered in the discipline of Biomedical Sciences, Liver Transplant Anesthesia, HPB Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Hepatology, Hepatopathology, Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) and Certificate Course in Renal Replacement Therapy. There are two seats in each couse.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : http://www.ilbs.in. The application fee is Rs. 2500. It should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Director, ILBS, New Delhi and payable at New Delhi. Filled in application form along with all relevant certificates and fee DD should be sent to the Associate Dean, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), D – 1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 110 070.

Last date for the submission of application form is 30th November, 2012. Written Examination will be held on 9th December, 2012 at New Delhi. Date of Departmental assessment is 10th December, 2012. The courses will be started from 1st January, 2013.

Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. programme in Biological Sciences for the academic year 2013-14. IBSD is an autonomous R and D institute functioning under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate in Post Graduation. Candidate must have qualified in NET / JRF. The selection will be made through Interview. Interview will be held on 10th November, 2012.

The hard copy of application from along with self attested copies of certificates / mark lists and two photographs should be sent to the Director (i / c), Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development, Takyelpat, Imphal – 795 001. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 5th November, 2012. Ph.D program will be started from 1st week of January, 2013.
