Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITDM), Kancheepuram has announced notification for admission to Ph.D. programmes for the academic year 2013. The selection will be based on merit in personal interview and / or test. Ph.D. programmes are offered in the disciplines of Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics.

Eligibility : Candidates should have BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MS in Engineering / Technology / PG in Sciences in relevant disciplines. Candidates must have a valid GATE score / UGC / CSIR NET / NBHM or equivalent.

National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. for academic year 2013. NCCS is an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Applicants must have Post Graduation in any discipline of Science with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Applicants must have a valid JRF (CSIR / DBT / UGC / ICMR / DSTINSPIRE / BING). Age should be below 28 years.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS) examination through website : http ://univ.tifr.res .in/gs201 3/Apply Online/Apply_Online.htm.
