Applications are invited by the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2014-15.

Ph.D. Program – Eligibility : For research in an area of Engineering / Technology : B.Tech or M.Tech / ME in relevant branch.

Eligibility for research in an area of Sciences : Masters Degree with minimum first class marks.

Eligibility for research in an area of Management : Graduation and MBA / M. Tech / ME / ACA / AICWA / ACS.

Eligibility for research in an area related to Liberal Studies (English Language and Literature, Public Administration and Public Policy, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, and International Relations) : MA with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate.

Last date for the submission of completed application form is 30th October, 2014.

Admissions are open in the disciplines of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Computer Sciences. Candidates need PG in the subject / discipline concerned.

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, Odisha has issued admission notification for Ph.D program for the academic year 2014-15. NISER is an important institute for research in basic sciences. Following are details of disciplines, eligibility and application procedure:

Disciplines of Research: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences. Duration of the program is three to four years. Age of the candidate must be less than 28 years.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written examination / personal interview. Interested candidates can download application forms from the website of the institute.
