Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur is invites applications from eligible candidates for Ph.D Scholarships, 2015 for students who are pursuing their Ph.D programmes in various disciplines for the academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility :
1. Ph. D (Engineering) : M.Tech / ME / BE / BS (4 year) / M.Sc in the respective area or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or Post Graduation in Sciences with a valid GATE score may also apply.

2. Ph.D (Sciences and HSS) : M.Sc / BE / BS (4year) / MA in relevant or allied area with a valid GATE / UGC / CSIR score.

3. Ph.D (Management) : Post Graduation in Management / relevant disciplines in Engineering / Technology / Graduation in Engineering / Science (4 year).

4. Ph.D (Design) : Post Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Design.

The application fee is Rs. 400 in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar IIT Kanpur and payable at Kanpur. Scholarship worth Rs. 25000 for 1st two year and Rs. 28000 per month for another 2 years.

Ministry of Human Resource Development is offering New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship, 2015 for Indian Nationals residing in India for Masters / Ph.D level Study in New Zealand for the academic session 2015-16. The selection will be made through interview.

Study subjects : Scholarships will be available for studies in the subject of Environmental Studies and Agriculture and Fisheries.
Duration of scholarships : 1 to 2 years for Masters and 3 to 4 years for Ph.D.
Eligibility : Degree / PG in relevant subject or allied fields with minimum65 percent marks.
Age : Not more than 40 years as on 31st May, 2015.
