Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Raipur has announced notification for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the year 2015-16. The selection will be made through common entrance test to be held on 4th September, 2015.

Ph.D prgrammes are offered in the subject of Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Vegetable Science, Entomology, Agricultural Extension, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Economics, Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Forestry, Agricultural Microbiology, Plant Physiology, Farm Machinery and Power, Soil Water Engineering, Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering.

Applicants must have Masters Degree in relevant discipline. Duration of programme is 3 years. The application fee is Rs. 400 which should be deposited through online.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://igkvmis.cg.nic.in. Closing date for the submission of online application is 30th August, 2015.

Anna University, Chennai has announced notification for admissions into Ph.D and MS (Research) programmes for the academic year 2015-16. The selection process will consist of written test and interview.

1. Ph.D programmes (full time / part time) : Engineering / Technology, Science, Humanities, Management, Architecture and Planning.
Eligibility : Masters Degree in relevant discipline.
Duration : 3 to 6 years.

2. MS (Research) programmes : Engineering / Technology, Science, Humanities, Management, Architecture and Planning.
Eligibility : BE / B.Tech / B.Arch / Post Graduation in relevant disciple.
Duration : 2 years.
