CSIR – Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad has issued notification for JRF / Ph.D admissions for the academic year 2016-17. Candidates will be admitted into JRF positions leading to Ph.D in the following areas of specialisation.

Specialisations: Science, Pharmacology, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Environmental Science).

Duration of the course is three years. Candidates should have ME / M.Tech / M.Pharm / M.Sc in the subject concerned. They should have qualified in CSIR – UGC NET – JRF / GATE 2016 / DST / DBT / ICMR / INSPIRE fellowship test.

Selection will be based on the scores in NET / GATE or equivalent exams and personal interviews. Online applications can be submitted through www.iictindia.org . Last date for the submission of applications is 26th May 2016.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita School of Communication has announced notification for admissions into Degree, PG and Ph.D programmes for the year 2016-17. The selection will be made through Communication Aptitude Test.

1. BA Mass Communication – Journalism or Print Media, Television and Radio Broadcasting, Film, Public Relations, Animation and Graphic Design and Advertising.
Eligibility : Passed in Intermediate with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of programme is 3 years.

2. MA Communication – Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of programme is 2 years.

3. PG Diploma in Journalism – Graduation with minimum 50 percent marks. Duration of course is one year.

4. Ph.D in Communication – Print Media, Broadcast Media, New Media, Film Studies, Integrated Marketing Communication and Advertising.
Eligibility : Masters Degree.
