Defence institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune is inviting applications for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The DIAT is a premier institute for training and research in the areas of Engineering related to defence sector. The admissions are in progress for July 2012 session. M.Tech program is available in the specializations of Guided Missiles, Cyber Security, Air Armament, Radars and Communication etc. Ph.D. can be pursued in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Applied Physics.

Eligibility Requirements: For Ph.D, applicants should have minimum 55 percent marks in M.E./M. Tech. for Ph.D. in Engineering. Candidates with M.Sc. Degree with at least 55 percent marks eligible for Ph.D. in Science programmes. For M.Tech programme, candidates need minimum 55 percent marks in the qualifying examination (BE / B.Tech in concerned discipline) along with valid GATE Score / UGC-CSIR NET qualification.

Applicants age should be below 26 years as on July 1, 2012. Selected candidates will get Rs.8000 per month as scholarship. Candidates have to apply online through DIAT website at www.diatonline.co.in . You can also download application forms from the website. Application fee is Rs.200 (100 for SC/ST candidates) per programme. Filled in hard copies of applications should be uploaded to the website. You need not sent hard copy to DIAT. Last Date for the receipt of filled in application forms is 05 May 2012.

Delhi Technological University, an University established by Govt. of Delhi has announced notification for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D Programmes for the year 2012-13. The Ph.D. programmes are offered in part time and full time modes. The DTU is earlier known as Delhi College of Engineering. M.Tech is offered in full time, part time and sponsored categories.

M.Tech program is offered in the department of Applied Physics, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Applied Physics, Mechanical and Production Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology.

For admission to full time M.Tech, candidates should have valid GATE score. The application form and course details can be downloaded from ww.dce.edu . Full Time and Part Time Ph.D programmes are also offered in most of the above mentioned departments along with Management and Humanities. Selection of the candidates for Ph.D will be based on entrance examination and interview. Last date for the receipt of completed application forms is 08-05-2012.
