NCERT – NTSE National Talent Search Exam 2014

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi has announced National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2014). Total number of scholarships under NTSE is 1000.

Amount of scholarship: Rs. 1250 for Intermediate candidates and Rs. 2000 per month for Degree and PG students. Candidates studying Ph.D will get scholarship as per the guidelines of UGC.

Selection will be through two stage process. First stage examination will be conducted by respective states / union territories. Candidates those qualified in Stage 1 will be eligible for Stage 2 exam which will be conducted by NCERT at the national level.

Application forms can be obtained from liason officers of NCERT at states / UTs. Last date for the submission of filled in applications is 31 August 2014. For more details, see www.ncert.nic.in .

NCERT announces NTSE Scholarship Exam 2013 for Class 10 Students

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi has announced notification and dates of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for the award of scholarships for Class X (10th Class) students. The NCERT will held national level test for the students qualified in state level test in Stage 1.

1) Last date for the submission of application forms for Stage 1 (State level): 31st August 2012.
2) State Level Examination in Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman and Nicobar Islands: 17th November 2012.
3) State Level exam in other states: 18th November 2012
4) National Level (Stage 2) exam in all states and UTs: 12th May 2013
