NIOS Online Applications for 10th and Intermdiate 2013

National Institute of open Schooling (NIOS) has informed that the candidates willing to join in 10th class and Intermediate courses for the academic year 2013-14 can submit online applications for the year 2013-4. The programmes are offered in distance education mode.

Last date for online applications through www.nios.ac.in is 28th February 2013. Applications are invited for stream 1 block 2 of the courses mentioned above.

Interested students can submit applications at any study center, regional center along with fee required.

Details of study centers, eligibility, subjects etc. are available on the website at www.nios.ac.in . The NIOS is also warning the candidates not to trust any mediators who assure seats and certificates etc.

NIOS Secondary and Senior Secondary Exam October 2012

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced notification for admission to Secondary Class (10th) and Senior Secondary Classes for the examinations to be held in October 2012. Online admissions are open for these courses across the study centers of NIOS. Candidates can visit their nearest regional center for online registration. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

1) For Secondary Class (10th): Applicants should have completed 14 years of age as on 31st January 2012. They must have cleared 8th class.
2) Senior Secondary Class (Intermediate): Applicants age should be 15 years and must have completed 10th class. Candidates can pursue these courses from any of the study centers across the country. You can apply online through www.nios.ac.in.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (also known as NIOS, NOS or National Open School) is the Board of Education for open schools in India. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in 1989 to provide education inexpensively to remote areas of the country. The NIOS is an authorized board to administer examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations of open schools similar to the CBSE and the CISCE.
