INSA Indo – Australia Fellowship Programme 2012

Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi has issued notification for the position of Early Career Researchers and Senior Scientists. There are 30 fellowships in research in all fields of Science and Technology under Indo -Australia S and T Visiting Fellowship Programme – 2012. Fellowships are available in the field of statistics, basic and applied, mathematics, engineering science, natural science and health in the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

1. Early Career Researchers : 20 fellowships. Qualification : Applicants should have Ph.D or equivalent. Duration of Fellowship is 3 – 12 months. Applicants age should be below 55 years

2. Senior Scientists : 10 Fellowships. Qualification : Applicants must be a senior scientist / university professor. Applicants must hold a Ph.D or equivalent qualification with minimum 10 years of research experience at university or institute. Applicants age should be below 55 years. Duration of Fellowship is 1 – 2 weeks.

BPRD New Delhi Doctoral Fellowships 2012-13

Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), New Delhi, an organization of Ministry of Home Affairs is offering Fellowships for Doctoral work in Criminology and Police Science. There are 12 fellowships. Candidates will be registered for Ph.D Degree in relevant field in any of the recognized university in India. Duration of Fellowship is three years. An amount of Fellowship of Rs. 8000 per month for the first two years and Rs. 9000 per month for the third year will be given to the selected candidates.

Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum 55 percents marks in PG Criminology / Sociology / Social work / Psychology / Social Anthropology / Public Administration / Political Science / Law and Police Administration. Candidates with NET / SET qualification are preferable. Applicants age should be below 30 years.
