NBE – NEET PG 2013 Online Applications get huge response

There seems to be huge competition for NEET – PG 2013 Entrance examination aimed at filled seats in Post Graduate Medical Colleges across the country. The Online application process for NEET – PG 2013 has been started on 5th October 2012. About 38000 candidates applied on the first day of the application process.

There are 350 Government PG Medical Colleges in India. About 20000 Medical Seats in MD / MS courses are available in these colleges. The NEET – PG 2013 online exams will be conducted from 23 November to 6th December 2012.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the online examination in 33 centers across the country. NEET – PG 2013 will be a computer based common written examination. There are romours that the NEET – PG Online application website has been jammed due to heavy rush of candidates on the first day itself.

Online application process will continue till 12th November 2012. The NBE officials are estimating that about one lakh candidates are likely to appear for the NEET – PG examination. AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh and JIPMER are exempted from NEET – PG Entrance test.

NEET – PG Notification 2013 – Test Dates and Online Application

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET – PG) for admission to MD / MS / Post Graduate Diploma Courses for the Admission Session 2013. This is an all India level entrance examination and admission to Medical Post Graduate programmes. Separate entrance exam for MDS courses will be held by AIIMS, New Delhi and the institute will release notification with all the details of MDS admissions (Dental PG courses).

Eligibility for NEET – PG: Candidates with MBBS Degree / Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from any recognised institute are eligible for NEET – PG. They should have completed one year of internship or likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2013.

Interested candidates can apply online for NEET-PG through online application system at official website www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg . Information Bulletins may also available at designated branches of Axis Bank from 4th October 2012 to 10th November 2012.
