Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi (JNVS) has issued admission notification for 6th Class. The JNV Samithi has hundreds of schools under its purview across the country. The Jawahar Navodaya Schools admissions will be based on the performance in entrance examination to be conducted by the JNV society.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates aspiring to get admission in 6th Class of Navodaya Schools should be studying 5th Class in any government recognised schools in India during the previous academic year. They must have fulfilled age requirements as per the notification of JNVS.
Application Forms:
Interested candidates can download application forms from Jawahar Navodaya website at www.navodaya.nic.in . Last date for the submission of filled in applications is mentioned on the website or brochure of the schools admissions.
Selection Procedure:
Students for admission into 6th class of Navodaya schools will be selected based on their performance in entrance examination. The all India entrance examination will be conducted February every year. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas follow state and central syllabus (CBSE) as curriculum. Navodaya Entrance Exam – Previous Papers
You may also get Navodaya previous papers on NVS website mentioned above. The entrance exam consists of questions related to all the subjects taught at 5th class level. They may consist of questions from Maths, Science, Social Studies, English, Hindi etc. You may also get previous papers of Navodaya entrance from open market book shops. But selecte good book after checking the publication and authors.
