Three New Medical Colleges in Madhya Pradesh from 2013

Here is a good news for MBBS aspirants in Madhya Pradesh. Three new medical colleges are coming up in the state of MP. Three new medical colleges will come up in Ratlam, Shahdol and Vidisha districts of the state.

Chief Minister of MP, Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation stone for the new medical college at Ratlam on July 24, Shahdol on September 14 and Vidisha on September 22. Each medical college will have 150 seats along with a hospital.

This is the first instance of starting medical colleges in the cities other than Bhopal, Gwalior Jabalpur and Indore. The land allotments for the new colleges has already been completed.

Army College of Medical Sciences MBBS Admissions 2013-14

Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS), Delhi Cantonment has issued MBBS admission notification for the year 2013-2014. Duration of the course is 5 years.

Eligibility: Applicants should have studied Physics / Chemistry / Biology or Biotechnology with 50 percent marks. They should have qualified in NEET 2013. Candidates should be children of Army / Ex-Army personnel with 10 years experience.

Selection will be based on NEET 2013 scores. Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.awesindia.com . Last date for the submission of filled in applications is not mentioned in the notification.
