IIM Tiruchirapalli PGPM 2011-13 Admissions

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT), new one in the brand IIMs is inviting applications for admission to the 1st Batch of Two Year Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) for the year 2011-13. The IIM Bangalore has been acting as nodal institute for IIM Tiruchirapalli. Selection will be based on CAT scores. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have marks and percentages from 10th class to UG as per the details below. They also should have CAT cut offs as mentoned below.

1. X / SSC/ 10th Class: Gen – 75 , OBC- 70; SC- 60, ST- 55, PWD-60
2. 10+2 / Intermediate/ XII: Gen- 70, OBC- 65, SC- 55, ST- 50, PWD- 55
3. UG/ Degree: Gen- 65, OBC- 60; SC- 50, ST- 50, PWD- 50

CAT 2010 Cut Off Percentile / Scores:

1. Total: Gen- 90, OBC- 80, SC- 60, ST- 60, PWD- 60
2. Verbal: Gen- 85, OBC- 70, SC- 55, ST- 40, PWD- 55
3. Quantitative: Gen- 80; OBC- 70, SC- 50, ST- 40, PWD- 50
4. DI: Gen- 75, OBC- 60, SC- 50, ST- 40, PWD- 50

JET-ABM 2011 for Admission to PGDM-Agri Business Management

JET – ABM 2011 will be conducted on Sunday, March 27, 2011 for admission to Post-Graduate Programmes in Agri Business Management in the following three national level institutions for the year 2011-13. All these institutes are working under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India and courses are recognised by AICTE. Candidates will be short listed based on ranks in JET- ABM 2011. They will have to go through Group Discussion, Interview, presentation etc. depending on the criteria of the institute. Following are details of institutes and programmes they offer:

1. National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad: PGDM(ABM)
2. Choudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS-NIAM), Bambala, Kota Road, Jaipur : PGDM (ABM)
3. National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad: PGDMA

JET-ABM 2011 Eligibility: Applicants should have qualified in any of the following four year bachelor’s degree : Agricultural Engineering; Agriculture; Agricultural Information Technology; Agri- Business Management/ Commercial Agriculture and Agri- Business Management/ Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation; Dairy Technology; Bioinformatics; Biotechnology; Horticulture; Forestry; Fisheries; Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering; Energy and Environmental Engineering; Sericulture; Veterinary Science.

Candidates have to apply Online through www.jetabm.gov.in. You can also download application forms from the websites of respective institutions. These are www.manage.gov.in, www.ccsniam.gov.in and www.naarm.ernet.in. Filled in forms along with a DD for Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST applicants) drawn in favour of ‘JET-ABM’, payable at Hyderabad should be sent wil required copies of certificates to ‘
JET-ABM, 2011, Post Bag No.5, P.O. Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030’. Last date for receipt of filled in applications is 14th February 2011.
