LIC of India is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Golden Jubilee Foundation Scholarship Scheme for the year 2013-14. Students from por families and with merit can apply for the scholarships.

Number of scholarships: 20 in each LIC division (10 for boys and 10 for girls) Qualifications: Applicants should be studying Medicine / Engineering / Graduation / Diploma Courses / ITI etc.

They should have at least 60 percent marks in 10th / Intermediate examinations. Annual income of parents / guardians should be below Rs. 1 lakhs. Interested candidates can apply online through www.licindia.in .

Last date for the submission online applications is 23 September 2013.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Programme 2012-13

LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation is offering Scholarships for eligible candidates for pursuing higher education for the academic year 2012 – 13. The scholarship is for the students belonging to economically weaker families and will be provided the scholarship until the end of the course. The mode of selection for LIC scholarship will be based on merit in education (10th / Intermediate) and annual income of the parents.

Qualification : Applicants should have passed in Intermediates or its equivalent with minimum first class marks. Candidates who are interested to pursue higher studies in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field and Vocational Courses from a Government recognized Colleges / Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) are eligible to apply.

Selected candidates will get an amount of Rs. 10000 per annum. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online only. Applicants must have valid email ID at the time of application.
