National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Kerala issued admission notification for full time MBA Programmes for the year 2011-13 for Technical Graduates. School of Management Studies (SoMS) of NIT Calicut is offering this programme for Graduates of Engineering, Technology and Architecture. Duration of the course is two years. SoMS is and emerging business school in India and has good faculty and infrastructure support. There are 30 seats.
Eligibility: Applicants should have bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture and have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs in 2010. NIT shall conduct group discussion and personal interview to be held at Calicut / Chennai / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Delhi / Mumbai.
Total marks will be 200. Following is the weightage for various qualifications:
1. Performance in B. Tech./ B.E./ B.Arch/ BSc. Engineering. 25 Marks
2. P.G/ PG Diploma: 5 marks
3. Work Experience: 20 marks
4. CAT Score (CAT cut-off may be decided later if required.): 50 marks
5. Group Discussion: 50 marks
6. Interview: 50 marks
Fee for total two year course: Rs. 3,22,374 (Hostel charges extra)
