CDAC Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi – IBM Mainframe Training Admissions

Center for the Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) is inviting application from eligible candidates for admission into Training Programme on IBM Mainframe course for the year 2011-12. This is the 123rd batch of the course being offered by CDAC Thiruvanantapuram. CDAC is a super computing organisation functioning under the ministry of communication and information technology, Govt. of India. The program is also offered at Kochi centre along with Thiruvanantapuram. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

1. Course: Training Programmes on IBM Mainframe
2. Modules to be covered: MVS, JCL, VSAM, VS COBOL, DB2, CICS
3. Eligibility: BE / B.Tech / MCA
4. Duration of the Programme: 46 days full time. 5 days per 5. week.
6. Start Date of the Programme: 17th August 2011

The CDAC has also announced that the many of the successful candidates have been recruited by leading software companies like Patni Computer Systems Ltd- Mumbai, Kanbay Software- Pune, CGI Bangalore, Tata Infotech Pune, Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, iGate Global Solutions Bangalore, and HCL Technologies, Chennai through campus placements. CDAC has announecd that 65 percent candidates of the last batch have been placed by various companies.

DOEACC Centre Calicut MCA and PG Diploma Admissions 2011-12

DOEACC Centre, Calicut (Kerala) is inviting applications for admission to MCA and other diploma programmes for the year 2011-12. DOEACC, Calicut is an autonomous body functioning under the aegis of Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India. 7) Advanced Course in J2EE: Duration is 3 Months; Course will start from 19th September 2011

8) Advanced Diploma in Information Security Administration and Audit: Duration is 3 Months; Program starts from 17th October 2011.

9) Advanced Diploma in Wireless and Mobile Security: Duration is 3 Months; Course will commence from 17th October 2011.
