Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions 2017-18 Online Application Process for Class 1

Kendriya Vidyalayas have started online admissions process from the academic year 2017-18. The parents should apply for class 1 through the KVS website at http://admission.kvs.gov.in . The online applications for KVS Class 1 admissions is open from 8th February and will close on 10th March 2017.

List of all kendriya vidyalayas is available on the KVS website. Regional Office wise KV schools information is available for online application submission. You need to select the KV School before proceeding with online application submission.

KVS admissions guidelines also available. After submitting online application, you will get a Unique Application Number. This will be your permanent registration number and you can get all information about your application through that number in future. You may also check your application status through this number.

Changes in Online Applications:

Yes, you can do changes in online applications whenever you want till the last date for the submission of online applications. You click on Edit button to make changes.

Along with Government employees, self employed persons, persons in private jobs also can apply for KVS admissions for their wards. There will be priority for certain categories as per the Guidelines of Government.

The Order of Priority is mentioned here:

Category 1- Central Govt. Employees
Category 2- Employees of Autonomous Bodies under Central Govt.
Category 3- State Govt. Employees
Category 4- Employees of Autonomous Bodies under State Govt.
Category 5- Self-employed / Private Job/Floating Population.

Online application process is only for Class 1. Selected candidates need to submit relevant certificates and forms at Kendriya Vidyalaya concerned after selection through lottery system.

KV Admissions starts from February 2015

KV Schools Students The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVs) across the country would start from February 2015. The CBSE would issue KV admission guidelines for the academic year 2015-16 and the schools across the country will have to follow these guidelines. KV Schools Admission Procedure

The Government is proposed to reserve 25 percent of seats to Economically Weaker Sections of the Society under EWS category. This will be implemented as per the guidelines of Right to Education Act (RTE) of Central Government. The admission process will be completed by March 2015.

Best KV Schools in Hyderabad

There are 1100 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country. Out of these 80 KVs are located in NCR region of New Delhi. About 1 lakh students will be admitted in Class I across the country.

KV Schools in Bangalore

The KVs are following EWS and neighborhood education policy from the year 2014-15. Remaining guidelines will be as per the previous year admission process. It is also decided to do away with entrance test for Class VIII admissions.
