NHRC Winter Internship Programme 2012-13

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), New Delhi has announced notification for Winter Internship Programme (WIP) for the academic year 2012. WIP will be started from 31st December, 2012 and will be continued till 29th Januart, 2013. Selected candidates will get stipend of Rs. 8000 per month from outside Delhi and Rs. 4000 pm from Delhi and NCR.

Eligibility : Applicants should have 4th and 5th year pursuing 5 years Integrated Law Course or 3rd year pursuing 3 year LL.B. course or LL.M.or PG Diploma in Human Rights or PG in any discipline of Human Rights / Sociology / Criminology / Social Work / Political Science / Public Administration / Rural Development / Anthropology / Economics / Commerce / History / International Relations and equivalent.

The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from website. The application form duly completed in all respects should be sent along with self attested copies of all relevant certificates to Dr. Sudershan Kumar Jain, Senior Research Officer (Training), National Human Rights Commission, Faridkot House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi – 110 001. Last date for the submission of completed application form is 15th November, 2012.

IIT Bombay Research Internship Awards 2012-13

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), is offering Research Internship Awards for specific research projects for the academic year 2012 – 13. Duration of Internship is 4 to 6 months. Applicants should be in second year of Post Graduation or third / fourth year of a Graduation program. Candidates will be able to work full – time for the Internship. Selected candidates will get stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month.

The selection process will consist of Test / Interview. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through weblink : http://www.ircc.iitb.ac.in/IRCC-Webpage/rnd/HRMSLoginPage.jsp. Last date for the submission of online application form is 5th October, 2012. Dates of Interview is 29th October to 9th November, 2012.
