Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has announced admission notification for its unique 5 year integrated management programme (IMP) for the academic year 2012-13. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary / XII Standard / 10+2 level or its equivalent examination and those who are going to complete the examination by 31st July 2012 can also apply. The programme will commence from September 2012.

Eligibility: Applicants should have 60 percent aggregate marks in SSC / Class X and 60 percent marks in HSC / XII standard / 10+2 level. OR they should have SAT -1 overall score of 1600 out of 2400. 5 percent relaxation will apply in SSC and 10+2 marks for SC, ST and PWD / DA candidates. Age should be below 20 years (below 22 years for SC, ST and PWD candidates) as on 30th June 2012.

SAT – 1 scores obtained during January 1, 2011 and 20th July 2012 are only valid. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 20th July 2012. Short listed candidates will have to appear for Aptitude Test to be held at Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Indore on 12th August 2012. Model paper for the Aptitude Test is available on the website http://www.iimidr.ac.in .

The TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) has launched a new coures in Social Sciences. The TISS announced B.A. programme in Social Sciences from the academic year 2012 – 2013. This is a three year UG liberal arts programme with focus on humanistic aspects of Social Sciences integrated with Science. After the completion of this programme, candidates can continue in MA in a range of disciplinary and Interdisciplinary areas of Social Sciences (2015-17). Hence this is a 5 year Integrated Course.

Candidates will have an option to Graduate with BA from TISS and move away for Masters OR they can join in Masters Programme in the same campus of TISS. Applicants should have completed 10+2 and those awaiting for second year results also can apply. The programmes is offered at TISS Hyderabad, TISS Guwahati and TISS Tuljapur campuses.

Candidates those obtained Bachelors from TISS need not appear for Masters Entrance Test and they can directly join in Masters Programme from 2015-16. Interested candidates can download application forms from the website www.BA-socialsciences.tiss.edu . Last date for the submission of completed applications along with relevant copies of certificates in 30th June 2012. There will be an online entrance examination on 15th July 2012.
