IISER Pune Integrated Ph.D Admissions 2012

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune is inviting online applications from eligible candidate for admission to Integrated Ph. D. program for August, 2013 session. Candidates in the final year of BE / B.Tech degrees can also apply Integrated Ph. D. program.

1. Ph. D. programmes are offered by the department of Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
2. An amount of Fellowship : Rs 10000 per month.
3. Eligibility : Graduation with Biology, Chemistry and Physics / B.Tech. / B.E.
4. Mode of selection : Entrance test followed by an interview.
5. Duration of programme : 6 years.

Closing date for the registration of online application is 15th December, 2012. Written test will be held on 2nd February, 2013. IIAP – IGNOU Integrated MSc-Ph.D Admissions 2012-13

Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIAP), Bangalore and IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) are jointly offering Integrated M.Sc. – Ph.D. programme for the academic year 2012-13. Duration of the course is five years. Following are details:

Candidates those selected for the programme will get Rs.10000 as studentship for the first and second year. They will receive Rs.16000 as studentship for the third and fourth years and may get Rs. 18000 per month for the last year. There will be a contingency fund apart from studentship.

Eligibility: Applicants should have B.Sc (Maths / Physics) / Applied Physics / Astronomy / Photonics / Optics /Mathematics / Engineering Physics / Electronics / Physics. They should have JEST / GATE score. Candidates will be short listed for interviews.
