IISER Dual Degree in BS – MS Admissions 2013-14

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has issued admission notification for BS – MS Dual Degree for the academic year 2013-14. Selection of the candidates with be though aptitude test and counseling. IISER has campuses at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Tiruvananthapuram.

Qualifications: Applicants should have any one of the following qualifications:

1) Qualification in KVPY Science Stream
2) JEE Advanced 2013 score along with 60 percent marks in 10+2.
3) State Board / Central Board Cut Offs required for INSPIRE fellowships.

Applications are accepted online. Last date for the receipt of applications for KVPY and JEE candidates is 3rd July. Last date for the applications for State and Central Board students is 8th July.

IISER Pune Integrated Ph.D Admissions 2012

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune is inviting online applications from eligible candidate for admission to Integrated Ph. D. program for August, 2013 session. Candidates in the final year of BE / B.Tech degrees can also apply Integrated Ph. D. program.

1. Ph. D. programmes are offered by the department of Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
2. An amount of Fellowship : Rs 10000 per month.
3. Eligibility : Graduation with Biology, Chemistry and Physics / B.Tech. / B.E.
4. Mode of selection : Entrance test followed by an interview.
5. Duration of programme : 6 years.

How to apply : Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : http://jobs.iiserpune.ac.in/integrated-phd/applicant. Closing date for the registration of online application is 15th December, 2012. Written test will be held on 2nd February, 2013. Date of interview for the shortlisted candidates on 3rd February, 2013.
