Sarala Birla Academy Bangalore Admissions 2014-15

Sarala Birla Academy, Bangalore has announced notification for admissions into V to IX and XI for the academic session 2014 – 15. There will be no admission test for Class XI. SBA is an English Medium boys’ residential school, affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.

Admissions are open for the grade of V, VI, VII, VIII, IX (ICSE and IGCSE – Cambridge International Examinations) and XI (ISC – Science and Commerce Streams) and IB Diploma courses. For any information send email at : info@saralabirlaacademy.org.

The selection will be made through entrance test (in the subject of English and Mathematics) for grade V-IX.

ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Results 2012 and Top Rankers

The Results of ICSE and ISC Examinations for the year 2012 have been released by respective boards. Girls secured top positions in the ranks list. The ICSE 10th Class and ISC 12th Class results can be obtained from the website http://www.cisce.org/ . 99.15 percent of Girls and 98.19 percent of boys were qualified in the ICSE Class X examinations.

In ISC Class XII examinations, 98.35 percent girls and 96.36 boys were passed. Madhavi Singh of Dhanbad and Shalaka Kulkarni of Thane secured top ranks in ICSE examinations with 98.80 percent marks. Second ranks were given to 11 students while 3rd rank was secured by as many as 23 students.

In ISC Class 12 results, Rohan Sampath of Dubai Model School secured first rank. This is the first instance that a student from outside India got first rank in ISC Class 12 examinations. Southern Region has posted good results in ICSE and ISC Exams 2012.
