MICA – PGDM Communications Admissions 2012-14

Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) is a leading institute for training and research in the discipline of communications. MICA is conducting PG Programme in Communications Management (PGPCM) which leads to PG Diploma in Management (PGDM- Communications) for the year 2012-14. Selection procedure of MICA consists of Common Admission Test called MICAT, Group Exercise and Personal Interview. Gujarat Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program 2011-12 Second Batch

The Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program of Gujarat is an innovative scheme to harness young energy and promote social service for the future development of the country. The Fellowship Programme is intended to inspire the best young achievers to advance as managers of excellence in the development of the state. This Fellowship programme is a chance for the youth to experience the functioning of the Government first hand and dedicate themselves in working for a better society. Following are details of the programme for the Second Batch to be started from 2011-2012.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have a University Degree and significant and relevant work experience in the field of Social development. Under The Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program, selected Fellows will have to spend 11 months working with the Government of Gujarat. They need to work in a specific Department or District of Gujarat.

Selection Procedure: Candidates for The Chief Minister’s Fellowship Program will be selected based on a combination of the criteria give below. The selection committee has designed an open system to ensure the best candidates are able to show their interest towards the program and they are selected on equal grounds. The following criteria will be followed for the selection of the candidates:

1) Candidates with strong academic record
2) Record of professional achievement in the career
3) Applicant’s commitment to social and public service
4) Strength of character, positive attitude and the ability to work with others in a team.

After the application form has been submitted, candidates will be informed of receipt of the application by an email. Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview or for an interview through video – conferencing or telephone. Those considered suitable after the initial interview will be called for final interview. This is the Second Batch of the Fellowship Programme.
