APPSC Group 2 Expected Cut Offs for all Papers 2012

About 71 percent of the candidates appeared for the Group 2 Examinations conducted by APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) on Saturday and Sunday (21st and 22nd July 2012). 3.31 lakhs candidates have attended for all the three papers. Following are the expected cut off marks for Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. We also have provided key and question papers of Group 2 examination 2012. Following are details of APPSC Group 2 Cut Offs as per the estimations of experts in the coaching field.

Overall Cut Off: It is estimated that the overall cut off for Group 2 will be around 320 marks for General Category candidates. As there will be no interview, candidates who secure 320 and above are likely to get executive posts in Group 2. The APPSC is going to fill 119 executive posts through this recruitment. Following are paper wise cut offs marks:

1) APPSC Group 2 – Paper 1 Cut Off: Around 95 – 100 marks
2) APPSC Group 2 -Paper 2 Cut Off: Around 120 – 125 marks
3) APPSC Group 2 -Paper 3 Cut Off: Around 90 – 100 marks

These are based on the earlier cut off marks, standard of this year’s Group 2 question paper, number of posts and competition. There may be variations in the cut off as there are several questions with no answers and some questions having more than on right answer. The APPSC has to take a decision on these type of questions and this may also impact the cut offs slightly.

We will be posting the key / answers along with question papers of APPSC Group 2 General Studies Paper 2 and Paper 3 shortly here. The examinations are scheduled on 22nd July 2012 in the morning and afternoon sessions. The Group 2 General Studies Paper 1 examination was held on 21st July (Saturday). You can get the key and question paper of Paper 1 from another post. We shall also upload the key and full question papers for Paper 2 and Paper 3 by the evening. If you know the key and answers, then you can check Group 2 expected cut offs for all the papers. About 3.66 lakhs candidates appeared for the Group 2 General Studies Paper 1 examination. Out of the total 5.4 lakhs candidates who applied only 4.8 lakhs candidates downloaded their hall tickets from APPSC website at www.apspsc.gov.in . Candidates may be facilitated to download the question paper 2 and paper 3 by the evening.

The APPSC has taken up Group 2 recruitment to fill up the vacancies in various Government departments in Andhra Pradesh. The positions available as per the notification are ACTOs, Labour Officers, Junior Assistants, Audit Officers, Section Officers etc. The results of the written examinations are likely to be released within a month or two.
