Grama Volunteers Application Process in AP

Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced Grama Volunteers recruitment announcement 2019. The eligible candidates can apply online through official website www.gramavolunteer.ap.gov.in . Here in this post we are giving details of Grama Volunteer Go, schedule of applications, recruitment, salary payable and details of selection lists.

2 Lakhs Posts in Villages:

Notification has been issued for 2 lakhs posts of Grama Volunteers in all the villages across the country. District wise notifications will be issued by the authorities concerned / collectors inviting applications.

Interviews from 11 June 2019:

After online applications, candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews. Selected candidates for the posts of Grama Volunteers will be called for training in August 2019 and the final appointments will be done by 15th August 2019.

Selection Lists of Grama Volunteers Posts:

Selection lists of Grama Volunteers will be finalised and released by district level selection committees. The list will be prepared based on the performance in personal interviews and finalised by the committes concerned.

Important Dates and Schedules:

Online Applications Submission for Grama Volunteers Posts: 24 June to 5th July 2019

Personal Interviews: 11 July to 25 July 2019

Traininig: 5-10 August in mandals.

Joining Duty: 15 August 2019

Total Vacancies in Villages: 2 Lakhs (approximate)

Age limit: Age of the candidates for Grama Volunteers posts should be between 18-35 years as on 30 June 2019.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should have passed in Intermediate, and in tribal / scheduled areas, candidates should have passed in 10th Class. Candidates should be from the same panchayat limits.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to start application process for the posts of Village Volunteers recruitment 2019 from 8th July 2019. The official GO along with online application schedule will be released soon by the Government of AP.

Application Schedule:

The AP Government is proposed to start the application process with following schedule for Village Volunteers (Grama Volunteers Recruitment) posts 2019.

4 lakhs Vacancies:

About 4 lakhs Grama Volunteers vacancies are likely to be filled by AP Government. It is proposed to appoint a volunteer for each 50 households. They will play an important role in implementation of government welfare schemes.

Recruitment by 7th August 2019:

The Government is proposed to complete the recruitment process by 7th August 2019.

Applications will be shortlisted by 23rd July 2019. After that the eligible candidates will be called for personal interviews at the district level. They will be appointed in August and will start functioning from 15th August 2019. More details will be uploaded on www.ap.gov.in.
