Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme 2014-15

The Government of India has announced Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme for Dependent Wards / Widows of Ex Servicemen and ex Indian Coast Guard Personnel.

Qualifications: Applicants should have taken admission in 2014 only eligible to apply for PMSS 2014-15. They should have scored 60 percent and above in 10 + 2/ Diploma/ Graduation examinations.

Students who are Dependent Wards/ Widows of Ex Servicemen and Ex Coast Guard personnel who died in harness/ disabled due to causes attributable to military service/ coast guard service, irrespective of the rank are eligible.

Application procedure: Applications have to be forwarded on plain A4 size paper in the prescribed format duly completed in all respects with superscription on the envelope Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Year 2014-15.

Prime Ministers Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research 2014 – 2015

Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), an initiative of Department of Science and Technology and CII is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the award of Prime Minister’s Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research for the year 2014-15. The scheme is open ended through out the year and candidates can apply at any time.

The scholarships will be provided in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine.

Eligibility: Applicants should be Doctoral Fellows and must have enrolled for Ph.D. in the last 14 months from the date of the submission of applications for fellowship.

Selection process consists of review of applications and interviews by and apex panel from academics, industry and government. Applications are invited online only through www.primeministerfellowshipscheme.com . Physical applications are not accepted.
