Govt Scholarships

Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), New Delhi is offering Scholarships to meritorious girl students to pursue Intermediate Education. Candidate passed in 10th class with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate only eligible for Maulana Azad National Scholarships. Amount of scholarship is Rs. 12000. Meritorious girl students belong to Muslim, Parsi, Christian, Buddhist and Sikh only eligible for MANS.

The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the office of the Foundation at New Delhi or can be downloaded from website www.maef.nic.in. The application form duly filled in all respects and should be sent along with all relevant documents to the Secretary, Maulana Azad Education Foundation, Social Justice Service Centre, Chelmsford Road, New Delhi – 110 055. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 30th September, 2012.

University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi is offering Merit Scholarships for University Rank Holders for admission into post-graduate degree courses for the academic year 2012 – 14. Under this scheme, Merit Scholarships will be given for University Rank Holders in various subjects for supporting post graduate education.

Eligibility: Applicants admitted in post-graduate first year regular non-professional degree course in the year 2012-13 are eligible. They should be pursuing the course in any recognized college / university. Candidates should have secured 1st and 2nd positions at the Under Graduation level. Selection of the candidates for the scholarships will be through an Expert Committee.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : www.ugc.ac.in/urh. Opening date for the submission of online applications is 3r September, 2012.
