IFTK- Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala PG Diploma Admissions 2011

Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) announced notification for admission to various Diploma and PG Diploma programs in Fashion Design and Technology for the year 2011-12. The IFTK is located in Kundara, Kerala. The institute is working under the aegis of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Govt. of India. Following are details of courses and application procedure:

Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduates (PG) Diploma Programmes of IFTK:

1. Diploma in Fashion Design (Duration: 3 Years); Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline
2. Diploma in Jewellery Design (Duration: 3 Years); Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline / subject from a recognised board.
3. P.G. Diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology (Duration: 2 Years); Eligibility: Any Graduation from a recognised University.

Details such as Date of Exam, Test Centers, Fee, application procedure and prospectus availble on www.iftk.ac.in. You can download application forms from the website also. Filled in forms should reach ‘The Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology, Kerala, Vellimon West P.O., Kollam, Kerala- 691 511’. Last date for receipt of application forms is 29th April 2011. Application forms should be enclosed with a DD of Rs 1000 drawn in the favor of Principal, IFTK, payable at Kundara.

SNDTCET 2011-12 for UG, PG Admissions in Fashion Courses

SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai issued notification for Common Entrance Test 2011-12 (SNDTCET 2011-12) for admission to Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses of the University and itrs affiliated colleges. Selection will be based on the performance in Common Entrance Test (SNDTCET) to be held on May 29, 2011 in 16 different cities across the country. Filled in application forms should be sent to ‘ B. Design department, Shree Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic, , S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai- 400 049’.

1. Under Graduate Degree / Diploma Programmes: B. Design with following specializations (4 Years ): Specialisations available are Fashion Design / Fashion Communication/ . Lifestyle/ Textile Design/ B.Sc. Jewelry Design (3 Years ). Eligibility: Applicants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent.

2. Post Graduate Programmes:

1. PGD Fashion Retail Management (2 Years)– SOFT / SFI
2. PGD Apparel Manufacturing and Merchandising (2 Years)- SFI
3. PGD Fashion Design (2 Years)- SFI
