CSIR – CECRI Karaikudi Admissions into B.Tech Programmes 2014-15

CSIR – Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission into B.Tech programmes for the academic session 2014-15.

The selection will be through JEE (Main) score – 2014 All India Rank. B.Tech programmes are offered in the discipline of Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.cecri.res.in. Opening and closing date for submission of online application is 9th July and 21st July, 2014 respectively. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 24th July, 2014.

CECRI B.Tech Chemical Engineering Admissions 2012-13

Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), an institute of CSIR is inviting applications for admission to B.Tech Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering. The course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The admission notification is for other state quota for the academic year 2012-13. There are 40 seats in total. Out of these 35 seats will be allocated for Tamil Nadu students (to be filled in through TNEA 2012) and remaining 5 seats will be reserved for all other states.

Admission to other state quota seats will be through AIEEE scores of 2012. Applicants should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level and general / obc candidates need at least 50 percent and SC candidates require 35 percent marks in 10+2 / Intermediate.

The interested candidates can download application form from the website at www.cecri.res.in . Filled in application forms should be sent along with a DD for Rs. 200 (General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 100 (SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Director, CECRI and payable at Karaikudi should be sent to The Dean (Administration), Centre For Education, CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi – 630 006, Tamil Nadu. Last date is 13th July 2013.
