Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will conduct APTET and DSC exams for the recruitment of teachers in Government schools in the state of AP. It is proposed to conduct APTET and DSC separately. The previous recruitment was conducted with a single exam called TET cum TRT.
APTET notification details:
Education department of AP will release APTET (AP Teacher Eligibility Test) 2020 notification soon. It is expected to be announced by the end of December 2019. DSC notification details also will be released in January 2020 along with recruitment schedules of other notifications such as Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and other exams.

DSC 2020 by May:
AP Government is proposed to complete the DSC recruitment process by May 2020. New teachers will join the schools from the academic year 2020-21. The DSC process will start after the completion of APTET exam as the TET is eligibility requirement for DSC.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
No changes are expected in APTET and DSC exam pattern and syllabus. About 90 percent syllabus will be same for both APTET and DSC exams. Previous syllabus is likely to be retained for both the exams. Minor changes may also take place with regard to weightage and exam pattern.

The curtains are raised for the teachers recruitment in Andhra Pradesh. The notification for APTET – 2017 has been released by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
