AIMA – MAT December 2011 Notification and Important Dates

All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced notification for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) to be conducted during December 2011. The MAT is an all India level entrance examination for admission into Management programmes in about 500 Business Schools across the country. The MAT December 2011 will be an objective type test with questions from Analytical ability, Test of Reasoning etc. MAT will be conducted as Computer Based Test and also as paper based test. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline. Those studying Final year also eligible to apply. Candidates can apply online through AIMA website at www.aima-ind.org/matdec11 . OR you can obtain MAT application forms against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda and also at listed Study Centers of AIMA and from AIMA, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. DD should be drawn in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank to get the application from post. Detailed procedure is available at www.aima-ind.org .

Details of participating institutes of MAT December 2011, procedure of application, test scheme, pattern, syllabus, model papers of MAT are available on the official website at www.aima-ind.org/matdec11. Candidates can down load their Admit Cards from AIMA website link at www.aima-ind.org/mat_centre.aspx for both type of tests from 26th November 2011 (Saturday).

Important Dates:

1) Last date for the submission of online application form / registration: 12th November 2011
2) Last date for the receipt of application form (online and offline) at AIMA : 15th November 2011.
3) MAT December 2011 (Paper Based Test): 04th December 2011 (Sunday)
4) MAT December 2011 (Computer Based Test): 10th December 2011 (Sunday)

AIMA-MAT September 2011 Notification, Test Pattern and Dates

All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced notification for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) to be conducted across the country during September 2011. MAT is intended for Admission to MBA and PGDM courses in various B-Schools in India. The AIMA conducts MAT four times a year. MAT exam will be conducted both in Paper mode and Computer Based test. Candidates can choose any one of these test modes. Candidates can register online through www.aima-ind.org/matfeb11 and shall pay the fee through credit card. MAT September 2011 applications are also made available at select branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank and AIMA Study Centers. Following are other details such as eligibility, test pattern, participating institutes and important dates:

Eligibility and Qualifications: Applicants should have passed in any graduation. Those appearing for final year examinations of their graduation also can apply. Application fee for direct purchase of applications at any of the above bank branches is Rs. 1200. Fee for online application OR cash payment at AIMA New Delhi is Rs. 1050. For online registration, you need to take a DD for Rs. 1050 in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi.

Cracking MAT is not that much tough if you plan properly for the exam.
