AIEEE Cut Offs

Sardar Vallabbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, Gujarat is one of the leading NITs in the country. Going by the AIEEE cut offs for 2011, we can say that Mechanical, Electrical and Communication Engineering are most preferred choices of the candidates for Engineering education. Apart from these SVNIT Surat is also offering Civil, Computers and Chemical Engineering at the B.Tech level. Admission to all these programmes will be through AIEEE ranks. Following are cut off ranks of SVNIT after 5th round of CCB counseling.

Following are opening and closing ranks of AIEEE 2011 for all Engineering courses in B.Tech. Last ranks for All India and Home State quotas are given for admitted students in Open (OC), OBC, Ph, SC and ST categories. These ranks will held the AIEEE 2012 candidates to predict the chances of getting a seat in SVNIT, Surat for their ranks. Remember that the Home State ranks are given for information purpose only. Jamshedpur is known for industrialization. That may be the reason for good demand of Mechanical Engineering branch in NIT Jamshedpur. National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur is the first NIT in Jharkhand. The institute is earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology and established in the undivided Bihar in 1960. NIT Jamshedpur is offering B.Tech porgrammes in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and Production and Industrial Engineering. Here we are giving cut offs / last ranks / opening and closing ranks of AIEEE 2011 for the benefit of AIEEE 2012 candidates.

NIT Jamshedpur admits students in B.Tech course through AIEEE counseling. Hence the previous year cut offs will help the candidates in estimating chances of getting a seat in the branch of their choice. If we look at the AIEEE 2011 cut offs, Mechanical, CSE and EEE branches have good demand. Cut offs are given for Home State and All India quotas and Open, OBC, SC, ST and PH categories.
