Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) is a premier institute for research in Sciences and Engineering disciplines. The AcSIR has 40 national level research institutions across the country under its purview. The institutes offer Ph.D program in various inter disciplinary subjects. Following are details of eligibility, selection and application procedure:
Ph.D in Sciences:
Need bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology, Medicine or Masters Degree in Science with good interest in research. Candidates with INSPIRE / CSIR – UGC NET, CSIR – JRF can apply for direct Ph.D in Sciences.
Ph.D in Engineering:
Candidates need Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology or Integrated 5 Year M.Tech Degree. Candidates can seek admission in Ph.D OR Integrated Dual Degree Ph.D program .
Fee Structure:
Regular Candidates: Rs. 6000 semester fee and Rs. 5000 Thesis submission fee.
Sponsored Candidates: Rs. 12000 semester fee and Rs.25000 thesis submission fee.
Selection Process:
Candidates have to choose three institutions from the participating organisations. They will be shortlisted based on the academic credentials. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews. Final selection will be based on the performance in interviews. For complete selection process, see acsir.res.in .
