The Joint Seat Allocation authority has come up with a new website (josaa.nic.in) for conducting admission process for IITs and NITs for the academic year 2015-16. The JoSAA has all the details of seats, institutions, courses and other data that is essential for the candidates who are going to participate in JEE Main and JEE Advanced counseling.
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has decided to conduct common admissions from this year for JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualified candidates. A total of 16963 seats are available in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions. All these will be filled through JEE main and advanced candidates through centralised counseling.
610 programs are available in all the institutions. Candidates can check the number of seats and courses in various institutions, states and also based on the duration of the course through the josaa.nic.in .
Here is the schedule for first round counseling:
1) Online Registration and Choice filling : 25 June to 29 June 2015
2) Display of Mock seat allocation: 28 June 2015
3) 1st Round Seat Allocation : 1st July 2015
4) Acceptance of seat (1st round) : 2nd July to 6 July 2015
