ANUCET 2011 Notification, Results | ANU, Krishna University PG Admissions 2011-12

Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for admission to PG Courses for the academic year 2011-12. A Common Entrance Test (ANUCET 2011) will be conducted by the University for admission to PG Courses in Nagarjuna University, Krishna University (Machilipatnam) along with their ffiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Important eligibility for ANUCET 2011 will be pass in the qualifying degree or appearing in the final year examinations with concerned subject. Candidates can avail application forms with Brochure for ANUCET 2011 directly from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, ANU. Admission to all M.Sc., M.A. and other PG Courses (Non – Professional) will be through ANUCET 2011. ANUCET 2011 Results will be announced aroung last week of May / June 2011 and the Counseling / Admission Schedule also will be released at the same time.

Application fee is Rs. 300. You can get applications by post through sending a DD for Rs. 350 (Including postal charges of Rs. 50) in favour of ‘The Director, Directorate of Admissions’, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar- 522510 and payable at SBI / Andhra Bank, NU Campus branches. You can purchase applications from the following PG Colleges / Centres affiliated to respective universites on payment of Rs. 300 as fee:

Best Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in Hyderabad- Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh has 52 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in various cities and towns. Out of 52, Hyderabad – Secunderabad twin cities have 17 Kendriya Vidyalayas. Though all the KVs are under the same managemetn system, there are variations in terms of standards and quality of teaching and the end results. All the KVs follow CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) syllabus and Examinations. Most of the KVs have started Pre Primary Sections as well. Out of these, KV at Picket , Secunderabad is believed to be on top in standards of education and extra curricular activities. Though there is no authentic source for ranking of KVs, our own experience tells that KVs at Golkonda (Nanal Nagar and Langar Houze) and Uppal (KV1 and KV2) also maintain good standards along with KV at Tirumalgiri.

KVs follow their own admissions guidelines formulated by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. These will be discussed in another article.
