Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) has announced notification for admission into PGDM Courses for the year 2012-13. XISS offer full time two year programmes in various specialisations such as HRM, Rural Management, IT, Finance etc. XISS has main campus at Jamshedpur and has another center at Ranchi, Jharkhands. XISS uses XAT 2012 scores for shortlisting the candidates for further selection process. Following are details of courses, eligibility and application procedure:

PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management): In the specialisations of Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Information Technology, Finance and Marketing. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have three or four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 percent marks in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science degree and relevant work experience. Those appearing for the final year degree exams also can apply.

The application process consists of two stages: 1. Applying for XAT 2012 at XLRI, Jamshedpur and 2. Applying at XISS, Ranchi for admission separately. Candidates can applsys online for XAT 2012 at by visiting www.xatonline.net.in till 30th November 2011. Candidates should apply separately at XISS by downloading the application from website of the Institute at www.xiss.ac.ins. University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi has announced notification for Joint Admission Process for Master of Business Economics (MBE) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC) for the Academic Session 2012-2013. Duration of the programme is 2 years. Both are full time post graduate programmes with focus on the needs of the corporate industry. University of Delhi has excellent placement record for management candidates. Following are details of programmes, eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Master of Business Economics (MBE) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC): Applicants should be Graduates under 10+2+3 mode in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. Candidates should have studied Maths or business maths at +2 level.Total number of seats are 46 in MFC and 82 in MBE. Candidates those appearing for final year exams also can apply.

Selection of the candidate will be based on CAT 2011 scores. University of Delhi uses CAT scores for short listing the candidates. Interested candidates can application forms from Room No 229, Arts Faculty Building, South Campus on payment of Rs. 1700 (Rs. 800 for SC, ST and PC candidates) for two programmes.
