Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has issued notification for the award of National Overseas Scholarship / Passage for Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates for the selection year 2014-15. Following are details of number of scholarships and application procedure:
Total Scholarships: 25 (Engineering -7, Management -6, Agricultural Science – 6, Medicine – 6).
The scholarships are meant for the specified field of studies at Masters and Ph.D level courses. Age must be below 35 years.
Eligibility: Applicants should have first class in Masters Degree in relevant discipline. Annual income of the family of the candidates should not exceed Rs. 300000 per annum.
