You can visit the KVs near to your place and talk to Principals. They might help you as there are some seats reserved for SC candidates. All the best.

I am an employ of central PSU and my post is transferable to allover India. and i was not transferred outside since last 7 years as i was requested, but tranferred locally within city. So, wheather my case is considered as transferable while processing KVs apllication. (Admission to class 1 for my son.)&
Each KV has its NO. or Name of place is enough. Because i noticed KVs NO. In one of the format.

You can apply to KV. There will be some vacancies for general people. There is no harm in applying and checking the luck.
