List of Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools in Bangalore

Despite flood of private and corporate schools into school education, Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVs) are maintaining their charm. Kendriya Vidyalayas have been grabbing top ranks in CBSE Board exams almost every year. The credit must go to rigorious selection process being followed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan in the selection of teaching staff for KV Schools. An important feature of KV Schools is their emphasis on extra curricular activities. The students of Kendriya Vidyalayas have been known for achievements in sports and games at the inter school, regional and national levels.

Bangalore has 13 (Tentative) Kendriya Vidyalayas across various locations of the city. Most of the schools are located at the extablishments of central government companies and institutions. Following is the list of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bangalore City:

    I am privet Employee working in Spinco Biotech Pvt Ltd in Bangalore. I want to make an admission for my son Jr.Samarth.V he is 2.7 yrs old (i.e born on 28 April 2011), I wanted to know whether in Kendriya Vidyalaya malleswaram or IISC campus have classes LKG. When should I have to apply for the seat, kindly suggest me whether he will be eligible for LKG and please send me details for admission.

    I am State Government Employee working in water resources department. Recently myself transferred to Bangalore. I wanted to know whether in Kendriya Vidyalaya malleswaram or IISC campus have classes LKG . My Son was born on 24 feb 2011, he his eligible for LKG next year (2014-2015). My family is put up near Nandini layout. when should i have to apply for the seat , please guide me in this regard since mine is transferable job.

    I wanted to know whether in Kendriya Vidyalaya you have classes LKG and UKG. My daughter was born on Sept 20 2011. is she be eligible for LKG next year (2013-2014). I am bit confused here with Age Cut Off.

      • Thanks for the reply. I am referring to KV, ASC Center (South), Bangalore. Can you please confirm whether they have LKG and UKG. Also please let me know about the age cut off. Sorry, in my previous comment I mentioned wrong year. Is she be eligible for LKG next year (2014-2015). she is born on Sept 20 2011.

    My son is studing second standered at KV, wayanad, just want to know which is the nearby KV scholl for Madivala – bommanahalli, bangalore. Is it easy to get a transfer from Kerala to Bangalore.

    government employees or state

    • State Government employees also can apply. KVs will have their own priorities and short list the student based on various factors. Central Government and transferable employees may get priority.
