I have twin children boy and girl studying in Tunbridge school, this year they are going to IIIrd standard. My husband is interested in Kendra vidhyalaya school because of sports. But, I have some confusion in the subjects, Is the subjects all in english or some subjects in hindi if the language hindi is okay but some other subjects is also in hindi don’t you think it will be difficult for the children to cope up with Hindi. Is there any one can clear my doublts and Is it possible for ICSE children to change in between in CBSC syllabus. Kindly reply as soon as possible.
Dear Bhavani, Most of the schools follow both English and Hindi as language of instruction. You need not worry much about Hindi. KVs are very liberal and they will allow the children to pick up on their own. You can change from ICSE to CBSE but schools do not encourage this in higher level classes.

You can apply under Single Girl Child Category. The chances depends on the number of applicants and age of the child. If the age is near to the cut off, chances will be greater.

Sir/Madam, my niece is studying in 3rd std. in Ryon International School, Kundalahalli near While Field and she daily travels from Hoskote in a school van. Now she is promoted to 4th std. My brother is planning to shift his house to nearby Malleswaram, as he is a Consultant in PWD Dept. in Nrupathunga Road. I want to know can she get a seat in Malleswaram KV for 4th Std. If so, when he can apply for the admission? Pl. help in this matter as We can’t see that little girl travels daily.

Hi, It is very difficult to get a seat in 4th Class if you are from Category VII of the KV Guidelines. They prefer wards of Central Govt. and State Govt employees as per their rules. The application process may be in progress. Please check with the school office. Nothing wrong in applying irrespective of your chances. You may be lucky if any vacancies are there.
Sir i am working in pvt sector bank and transferable all over india. My transafer will be confirmed before 10th of april, so is it possible to me join my daughter to 1st standard if transferred to bangalore during 2nd week of april. What is proceedure of joining KVand i want to know the fee structure.

Wards of private employees do not have any priority in KV admissions as KVs are not basically meant for them. They comes under last category of admission. They will be considered for admission if any seats left after admitting children of central and state government categories. Sometimes you may be lucky to get a seat. So do not hesitate to apply and try luck. Fee is very nominal and they emphasize very much on sports.
