LAWCET 2011 Notification, Results, Counseling Schedule

The APSCHE, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has announced LAWCET 2011 notification with dates for admission to 3 year LL.B./ B.L. and 5 year LL.B./ B.L courses in University and affiliated Law Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. LAWCET 2011 is a single window admission entrance test for law course for the academic year 2011-12. Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati shall conduct LAWCET 2011. The APSCHE will supervise the Lawcet process, Results and Counseling. Following are details of LAWCET 2011:

3 year LL.B./B.L. Course: Applicants should have passed in any Graduate Degree with minimum 45 percent marks. Age must be below 30 years in case of general category applicants. Relaxations apply for reserved candidates.

5 Year LL.B./B.L. Course: Applicants should have passed 2 year Intermediate Examination in 10+2 mode with minimum 45 percent marks. Age should be below 20 years for General candidates and relaxations will the there for reserved categories.

Applications forms can be obtained from all head post offices in Andhra Pradesh along with e-seva centers and designated bank branches.

Important Dates for LAWCET 2011:

1. Start of sale of application forms for LAWCET 2011 : 16-3-2011
2. Last date for submission of forms: 30-4-2011
3. Last date (with Rs.200 as late fee): 20-5-2011
4. Last date (with Rs.500 as late fee): 31-5-2011
5. LAWCET 2011 Entrance Exam (3 years and 5 years) Date: 11-6-2011 (10.00 to 11.30)
6. LAWCET 2011 Entrance Exam (PGLCET) Date: 11-6-2011 (2.30 to 4.00)

  1. I just received my hall ticket for lawcet2011. But my name printed on the hall ticket is wrong. So how do I go about this problem?? Would this effect me at the time of admission??

    • It may be typographical error and may not impact admission process is selected. You name on the SSC certificate will remain important.

      Age limit for 3 year and 5 year courses are 30 years and 20 years respectively (for General candidates). There are relaxations in age limit for reserved candidates.

  2. I am an IT professional and want to pursue Law through distance education and i am not below 30 years. so why is that there is a age limit for the lawcet and ppl like me will not be able to fullfill our dreams.
    Age limit should be removed.
