The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVs) across the country would start from February 2015. The CBSE would issue KV admission guidelines for the academic year 2015-16 and the schools across the country will have to follow these guidelines. All the schools follow CBSE syllabus and textbooks prepared by NCERT, which are known as the best books for school education.

KV Schools Admission Procedure
The Government is proposed to reserve 25 percent of seats to Economically Weaker Sections of the Society under EWS category. This will be implemented as per the guidelines of Right to Education Act (RTE) of Central Government. The admission process will be completed by March 2015.
There are 1100 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country. Out of these 80 KVs are located in NCR region of New Delhi. About 1 lakh students will be admitted in Class I across the country.
The KVs are following EWS and neighborhood education policy from the year 2014-15. Remaining guidelines will be as per the previous year admission process. It is also decided to do away with entrance test for Class VIII admissions.

There is no quota for MLAs, and you can try under MPs quota. The local MP can recommend two children!

Is there is a quota for one girl baby for 1st standard
am having twin sons born on 02.09.2009 and studying ukg in jain school meenbakkam.we both husband and wife are working in private concern.it is not affordable to pay school fees for both at a time so i prefer to get admission from kv.we belongs to BC category.suggest me the procedure and date of application issue and also the documents to be submitted .

Our family is very much interested to join my son to KV school Bangalore and we like the way school will encourage in sports and all the other activities, please let me know to get seat in the KV school is very difficult.
