KV Admissions starts from February 2015

KV Schools Students The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVs) across the country would start from February 2015. The CBSE would issue KV admission guidelines for the academic year 2015-16 and the schools across the country will have to follow these guidelines. All the schools follow CBSE syllabus and textbooks prepared by NCERT, which are known as the best books for school education.

KV Schools Admission Procedure

The Government is proposed to reserve 25 percent of seats to Economically Weaker Sections of the Society under EWS category. This will be implemented as per the guidelines of Right to Education Act (RTE) of Central Government. The admission process will be completed by March 2015.

Best KV Schools in Hyderabad

There are 1100 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country. Out of these 80 KVs are located in NCR region of New Delhi. About 1 lakh students will be admitted in Class I across the country.

KV Schools in Bangalore

The KVs are following EWS and neighborhood education policy from the year 2014-15. Remaining guidelines will be as per the previous year admission process. It is also decided to do away with entrance test for Class VIII admissions.

    Please tell me reservation procedure and quota’s of admissions. And is it one application applicable to all branches if we supposed not get seat particular branch ? or do we need apply one or more branches to get seat confirm ?

    • You can apply separately for each branch of KV. Each school issues applications separately. The application cost may be Rs. 100 / 150.

  4. OMG, despite so many circulars and announcements by kvs people have plenty of doubts. I wish i had time to clear all your doubts. Involve yourself and make the admission process transparent. The application forms for the current year will be issued from 9th of February in all the KVs. The admission guidelines vary every year with a bit of change. Please visit the website of KVS for details and process of admission. By and large the process is transparent. http://www.kvsangathan.nic.in. Please do not fall a prey to middlemen. The only out of the way admission is to approach an MP. May be every chairman has (so far) been given two seats, and just that’s it.
