The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVs) across the country would start from February 2015. The CBSE would issue KV admission guidelines for the academic year 2015-16 and the schools across the country will have to follow these guidelines. All the schools follow CBSE syllabus and textbooks prepared by NCERT, which are known as the best books for school education.

KV Schools Admission Procedure
The Government is proposed to reserve 25 percent of seats to Economically Weaker Sections of the Society under EWS category. This will be implemented as per the guidelines of Right to Education Act (RTE) of Central Government. The admission process will be completed by March 2015.
There are 1100 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country. Out of these 80 KVs are located in NCR region of New Delhi. About 1 lakh students will be admitted in Class I across the country.
The KVs are following EWS and neighborhood education policy from the year 2014-15. Remaining guidelines will be as per the previous year admission process. It is also decided to do away with entrance test for Class VIII admissions.

It may be difficult to get seats in higher classes in KVs. Contact Principal and ask for help if any vacancies are available.
My Daughter & Son are studying in pvt school. They will now move to 7th & 8th std. is the admission process for KV Delhi still on. Also i have EWS certificate. Please let me know.

There is a quota for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). You need to provide a certificate in this regard while applying for the admission.

Hi Sir i am the self employee in private limited company so can i join my children in kv school in any branch of Hyderabad.
You can try in the KVs but the chances depends on the competition within general seats.
